Full Performance Setup

Before you begin

• Connect the audio, MIDI, pedal, mixer, display, storage, and network equipment you will use.
• Back up the Cuevera library.
• Decide who controls playback and which device hosts Band Connect.

Prepare the song

1. Open the song, select Prepare Song, and choose Full performance setup.
2. Confirm title, artist, key, BPM, time signature, and work status.
3. On Playback, choose the performance clock: backing track, recorded reference, click track, or manual timeline.
4. Preview all audio and verify stem assignments, starts, lengths, levels, mutes, solos, and routing.
5. On Lyrics Reference, verify the exact lyrics and section order.
6. On Analyze, run analysis only when the source or timing changed. Review all flagged items.
7. On Chart, correct measure 1, beats, sections, chords, and lyric positions while listening.
8. On Lyrics, correct words and line breaks; test auto-scroll at the beginning, middle, and end.
9. Optionally assign Colors.
10. On Cues, add needed MIDI, lights, mix, PDF, instrument, drum, text, recorded, or display actions.
11. Test every cue in order and test jumping into at least two later sections.
12. Review Finish, save, and mark Performance Ready only after rehearsal succeeds.

Run a pre-show check

1. Disconnect the internet and confirm the song opens, plays, scrolls, and fires cues.
2. Verify device names, ports, channels, patches, buses, and display destinations.
3. Test the full song and section jumps.
4. Restart Cuevera, reopen the song, and repeat a short playback test.
5. Make a current backup.

You are done when

• The correct source controls the song clock.
• Lyrics, chords, sections, and cues agree throughout.
• Tracks and hardware routing recover after reopening Cuevera.
• A complete offline rehearsal finishes without manual repair.
